Our Comprehension Skills Course covers the essential skills that can be learned and applied to all reading situations including finding information, inferring, sequencing, identifying the main idea, predicting, concluding, and summarising. We model and explain a repertoire of strategies to increase students comprehension of text. They have the opportunity to practise these strategies and are assessed throughout the course.

Children need to be able to decode what they read; make connections between what they already know; and think deeply about what they have read. We model and explain a repertoire of strategies to increase students comprehension of text. The children have the opportunity to practise using these strategies and are assessed throughout the course.
